In this position, you would be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. This includes performing inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and completing all repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and company policies. You would report directly to the Service Manager.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent,required
• Minimum 1 year of Automotive diagnostics working experience
• Minimum 1 year of Diagnosis, Suspension, Brake Repair, and Manual Transmission work
• Previous dealership or equivalent working experience (Preferred)
• Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
• Team oriented,flexible and focused onmaintaininga high levelof customer service
• ValidCAdriver's license

Essential Duties, but not limited to:

• Performing work specified on repair orderin accordance with dealership and certification policies.
• Communicating with service advisors to inform customers of possibleadditionalwork needed.
• Performing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications and required certifications.
• Clarifies description of problems with service advisor; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records.
• Completes thorough inspection of all vehicles for safety concerns,repairand maintenance needs.
• Completes repairs by describing problems and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services requiredor recommended; enters repair documentation into the repair order service database system.
• Maintains a current CA driver's license.
• Updates job knowledge byparticipatingin educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications and other customer service or sales related periodicals.
• Enhances organization'sreputation by accepting ownership foraccomplishingnew and different requests.
