As an Automotive Technician at Theodore Robbins Ford, you will play a key role in inspecting and reconditioning pre‑owned inventory to ensure every vehicle is safe, reliable, and retail‑ready. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

• Recondition pre‑owned vehicles for front‑line sales
• Receive and complete repair orders from the dispatcher efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership standards
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform the appropriate repairs
• Coordinate with the parts department to source required components
• Inspect vehicles to identify any additional safety or service needs
• Communicate promptly with service advisors regarding scope changes or timeline concerns
• Document all work performed thoroughly and accurately
• Road‑test vehicles as needed to verify repair quality
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly manage all dealership‑owned tools

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on automotive repair experience
• Solid understanding of automotive diagnostics, suspension systems, and brake repair
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced dealership environment
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
