The Senior Supply Chain Analyst – Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Procurement Planning is responsible for driving end‑to‑end planning insights across demand, supply, inventory, and procurement through advanced analytics, business intelligence, and cross‑functional collaboration. This role designs and maintains metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and control towers using modern BI and data warehousing tools, enabling data‑driven decision‑making. It also owns the internal Product End‑of‑Life (EOL) planning process, overseeing customer notification timelines, last‑buy strategies, and inventory exit plans to minimize excess and obsolescence risk.
The position partners closely with Product Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales, Sales Operations, Strategic Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, IT, and Finance to improve forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and working capital performance across global operations.
- Business Intelligence, KPIs, and Control Towers:
Design, build, and continuously improve metrics, measures, KPIs, dashboards, and control towers using BI and data warehousing tools such as Microsoft BI (Power BI) and Qlik Sense. Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and scalable data models; align source systems (ERP, planning tools, WMS, etc.) with BI outputs. Publish daily, weekly, and monthly planning KPIs (e.g., inventory value, turns, weeks of supply, excess/obsolete inventory, forecast accuracy and bias, service level and fill rate, inventory targets by business unit/product line/lifecycle stage).
Ensure dashboards are action‑oriented and trusted by stakeholders. - Demand, Supply, and Inventory Planning Analytics:
Develop and maintain integrated demand, supply, and inventory metrics to support S&OP / IBP and executive decision‑making. Analyze demand signals, supply constraints, and inventory positions to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations. Monitor inventory levels globally and highlight risks related to stock‑outs, excess, aging, and obsolescence; work with planning teams on mitigation. Support inventory optimization initiatives including target stocking strategies, safety stock reviews, redeployment opportunities, and service‑level trade‑offs. - Inventory Management & ERP Enablement:
Manage and report on inventory excess and obsolescence, projections, turns, and other KPIs. Assist in monitoring and optimizing ERP planning master data (safety stock, lead times, order modifiers, lot sizes, item attributes). Support DRP activities using ERP tools or models to align inventory with sales plans and target stocking levels. Work with distribution centers and logistics teams to track shipping performance, perform root‑cause analysis for misses, and support corrective action plans. - Product End‑of‑Life (EOL) Planning Ownership:
Serve as the process owner for internal product EOL planning, coordinating with Product Management, Sales, Supply Planning, and Operations. Oversee customer notification timelines, last‑buy dates, and inventory exit strategies to minimize excess, scrap, and write‑offs. Develop EOL inventory strategies, scenario analyses, and financial risk assessments based on demand run‑out, aging, and exposure. Track and report EOL performance metrics and risks to leadership. - Cross‑Functional Leadership & Communication:
Work with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales, Sales Operations, Strategic Purchasing, and Finance to align on targets, assumptions, and trade‑offs. Provide inventory, demand, and supply insights for monthly S&OP / IBP presentations, including notable changes, risks, and mitigation actions. Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights and lead or support moderately complex analytical projects, system enhancements, and process improvements as needed.
