About the Role

The Creative Director, Studio (eCommerce) is responsible for defining and elevating the visual direction of o5 group’s in-house studio across a multi-brand portfolio. This role sets the creative vision for high-volume eCommerce photography while ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance across PDPs, marketplaces, and seasonal brand moments. Partnering closely with Studio Operations, eCommerce, Merchandising, and Brand teams, the Creative Director balances creative excellence with operational realities—delivering imagery that is on-brand, conversion-focused, and efficiently produced.

How

You’ll Contribute
  • Own and evolve the studio’s creative vision across all eCommerce photography, ensuring consistent, elevated brand expression across multiple fashion brands.
  • Define visual standards for on-figure, flat lay, ghost mannequin, and still life imagery, aligned to brand guidelines and commercial goals.
  • Partner with Studio Management to translate creative direction into scalable shoot frameworks, templates, and repeatable systems.
  • Lead creative reviews, provide clear and actionable feedback to photographers, stylists, and retouching partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Merchandising, and eCommerce teams to align imagery with seasonal narratives, product launches, and channel needs.
  • Ensure imagery supports conversion and performance goals, balancing aspirational storytelling with clarity and product accuracy.
  • Guide styling, set design, lighting direction, and casting to maintain visual consistency and differentiation by brand.
  • Oversee creative quality control across capture and post-production, ensuring color accuracy, retouching standards, and final asset integrity.
  • Mentor and develop creative talent within the studio, fostering a high-performance, feedback-driven culture.
  • Support special projects including PDP refreshes, hero imagery, marketplace requirement shifts, and new brand onboarding.
What You Bring to the Team
  • 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within fashion, apparel, or eCommerce photography environments.
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce imagery best practices, performance considerations, and evolving marketplace standards.
  • Proven ability to balance creative vision with operational efficiency in fast-paced, multi-brand environments.
  • Exceptional eye for styling, lighting, composition, and brand storytelling.
  • Experience leading and mentoring creative teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate creative direction clearly and decisively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Design, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
