Position: Mobile Service Coordinator/ BDC

Theodore Robins Ford is seeking a motivated and organized Mobile Service Coordinator/BDC to join our team in Costa Mesa, CA. This role is essential for ensuring smooth communication between customers and our service department, managing appointments, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall experience.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule mobile service appointments efficiently and accurately.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, responding promptly to customer inquiries and service requests.
  • Manage service follow‑ups, customer reminders, and appointment confirmations.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of service appointments and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with technicians and sales teams to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize dealership management systems to track and update customer information and service records.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for mobile service inquiries and updates.
  • Communicate effectively with service technicians to ensure timely completion of mobile repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist in managing service documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with service managers and other staff to improve mobile service processes and customer experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive service or administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a service coordinator, BDC, customer service, or coordination role within the automotive or service industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and dealership software; scheduling software is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with a customer‑focused approach.
