Design Administrator & Construction Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Design Administrator & Construction Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is not an entry-level position.

We are seeking a highly experienced construction administration professional capable of operating independently within a luxury residential design environment.

The ideal candidate understands custom residential construction, shop drawing review, contractor coordination, RFIs, site reviews, and construction documentation. This individual will work closely with our Senior Design Administrator and Design Leadership team to help protect design intent and support the successful execution of our projects.

This role is intended for an experienced professional who can contribute immediately while becoming a long‑term part of our growing studio.

• Shop drawing review and coordination
• Contractor communication and field coordination
• RFI management and resolution tracking
• Site visits and construction review meetings
• Construction documentation and project organization
• Identifying and resolving construction‑related design issues
• Supporting the preservation of design intent throughout construction

You have spent years coordinating complex custom residential projects and are comfortable working directly with contractors, consultants, and design teams.

You are highly organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of operating independently.

You enjoy bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex projects and understand that exceptional design requires exceptional execution.

• 5–10+ years of experience in construction administration, architecture, interior architecture, design‑build, or luxury residential construction
• Extensive experience reviewing shop drawings and construction documentation
• Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, contractor coordination, and field communication
  
  Experience managing multiple active projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Luxury residential experience strongly preferred
