It connects the full lifecycle, from concept to build to field feedback, into one operating environment built for speed, traceability, autonomy, and continuous improvement. That environment includes not just the software used to design, plan, and execute work, but also the factory‑facing infrastructure that connects operators, machines, test systems, and OT networks into the same adaptive Build Chain.

It is not a support function, but rather a strategic investment by Anduril that the operating system of the hardware lifecycle is how we win. It will be one of the mechanisms by which Anduril out‑builds, out‑adapts, and out‑scales the traditional defense industrial base. We are looking for a Engineering Solutions Application Engineer to work with our team of developers and partner with cross functional teams across the company to develop customizations, optimize workflows and ensure engineering tools do not limit the speed of engineering design.

• You will work with a high‑functioning team of engineers in various cross functional teams with an emphasis on identifying and finishing business‑critical projects
• You will help troubleshoot technical issues including those related with deployment, configuration and ongoing support

• You have 5+ years of experience in a design engineering role building products, ideally in a fast‑paced environment
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent education/work experience)
• You prioritize solutions that deliver immediate value to engineers over perfect but complex approaches
• You understand that adoption is as important as capability—the best process is the one people actually use
• You possess deep expertise in at least one engineering discipline and its associated tool stack (CAD, CAE, PLM, or discipline‑specific applications)
• You have a strong understanding of engineering workflows from concept through production
• You have hands‑on experience using engineering design tools and can quickly learn new platforms
• You have proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find practical solutions
• You are a U.S. Person (required for export control) 5+ years of experience in a design engineering role building products, ideally in a fast‑paced environment
