Engineering Solutions Application Engineer

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI‑powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real‑time, 3D command and control center.

As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

Arsenal

OS is the digital backbone of Anduril’s hardware enterprise. It connects the full lifecycle, from concept to build to field feedback, into one operating environment built for speed, traceability, autonomy, and continuous improvement. The environment includes software to design, plan, and execute work, as well as factory‑facing infrastructure that connects operators, machines, test systems, and OT networks into the same adaptive Build Chain.

It is a strategic investment that helps us win by out‑building, out‑adapting, and out‑scaling the traditional defense industrial base. We are seeking an Engineering Solutions Application Engineer to work with developers and cross‑functional teams to develop customizations, optimize workflows, and ensure engineering tools do not limit the speed of engineering design.

  • Identify overlapping capabilities and optimize for global organization.
  • Work with a high‑functioning team of engineers on cross‑functional projects with emphasis on business‑critical work.
  • Help troubleshoot technical issues related to deployment, configuration, and ongoing support.

  • Strong understanding of engineering workflows from concept through production.
  • Hands‑on experience using engineering design tools and ability to quickly learn new platforms.
  • Proven troubleshooting ability and practical solution finding.

  • Background supporting cross‑functional engineering teams in complex product development.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
