By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI‑powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.

As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

Responsibilities
  • Execute comprehensive test plans: set up, configure, and operate benchtop test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, signal generators, etc.) to verify performance of PCBs and integrated electronic systems.
  • Perform precision PCB rework and assembly, including surface‑mount (SMT) and through‑hole soldering, component replacement, and jumper wire installation under a microscope. This also includes conformal coating and staking operations.
  • Build, assemble, and modify complex cable and wire harness assemblies, including crimping contacts, soldering various connector types, and routing wires according to schematics and build documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in electronic assemblies (PCBs and harnesses) down to the component level using schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams, then execute necessary repairs.
  • Accurately document test data, rework actions, assembly details, and failure modes to support engineering analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Lab maintenance:
Assist in maintaining the lab environment to clean and safe standards, including equipment calibration.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in electronics testing, assembly, and rework in an R&D or production environment.
  • Strong technical literacy:
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, bill of materials (BOMs), and technical datasheets.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in fine‑pitch SMT and through‑hole soldering (IPC J‑STD‑001 or equivalent standards). Experience with PCB rework, component replacement, and modification.
  • Proven experience in building and modifying complex cable and wire harness assemblies, including crimping, soldering various connector types, and routing (IPC‑620 or equivalent standards).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing electronic failures to the component level using standard test equipment and documentation.
  • Understanding of product development life cycles, reliability, and compliance testing.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self‑organizing:
Able to prioritize simultaneous tasks in an electronics lab/test environment.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education:

Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or related fields.
  • Active IPC‑610, IPC‑620, and J‑STD‑001 certifications.
  • Experience using ECAD viewers (Altium, Eagle, OrCAD, etc.) to locate components on a board layout.
  • Environmental testing:
Familiarity with thermal chambers, vibration tables, and burn‑in procedures.
