We are looking for a Senior Electrical Integration Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will work closely with avionics, systems, manufacturing, and flight test teams to support the development and test of air vehicle designs. WhatYou Will Do
- Create support documentation to include block diagrams, ICD's wiring interconnect diagrams throughout all phases of product development.
- Build up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
- Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
- Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
- Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- 8+ years experience designing and integrating electrical systems into high-speed air vehicles or missiles.
- Experienced and familiar with aircraft avionics module vendors and avionics component suppliers in UAS programs
- Experience with Siemens Capital software for 2D modeling and drafting.
US Salary Range $146,000 - $194,000 USD
