ABOUT THE TEAM

The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5
air vehicles and missile platforms
. Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineers own the full development lifecycle
, from concept generation, to integration and flight test, ensuring high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • You will contribute to the development of mass properties (weight, center of gravity (CG), & inertia) data for new air vehicle development.
  • Develop, track, and maintain mass properties data throughout air vehicle design phases
  • Participate in defining mass properties related design requirements
  • Provide vehicle and subsystem configuration trade study guidance
  • Support vehicle and subsystem level weight and balance control efforts
  • Estimate, calculate, measure, and verify weight, balance, and inertia of components, assemblies, and completed vehicles or systems
  • Participate in developing and maintaining mass properties accounting systems
  • Generate mass properties reports
  • Author Weights and Balance Manual
  • Participate in developing and implementing new processes and tools
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.S. or M.E, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in aerospace or related industry
  • Excellent communication and team skills
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Siemens NX proficiency
  • UAV design experience

US Salary Range

$129,000 - $171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
