Our PE-Backed Manufacturing client is seeking an FP&A Manager who will lead operational finance, cost accounting, budgeting, and pricing. This candidate will have direct interaction with C-level executives and communicate with the plants. Their ideal candidate must have experience in a standard-costing environment.

• Serve as the primary finance partner for manufacturing operations, providing insight into operational drivers impacting finished-goods costs.
• Partner with the CFO and Controller to lead the design and implementation of standard costing models, transitioning the organization away from manual processes in 2026.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to translate manufacturing activity into financial results.
• Partner with the Pricing Team to analyze and optimize margins across a diverse product portfolio.
• Oversee inventory analysis and reporting, including evaluation of foreign currency impacts on global supply chain costs.
• Monitor and analyze key manufacturing KPIs to identify inefficiencies, operational losses, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform ad-hoc financial modeling to support market expansion initiatives and competitive analysis against industry peers.
• Prepare monthly gross margin analysis by customer and part number to identify profitability drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Controller on the annual operating plan and long-range planning processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function to support a more automated, metrics-driven environment.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to cross‑functional leaders in operations, sales, and executive management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent directly related work experience.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
• Experience in a standard costing environment is required.
• Systems Experience such as Planful, SAP, MS Dynamics 365, Net Suite, Sage 300, Acumatica, Oracle, Workday, MS Business Central, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics GP or Intacct all deemed good.
• Advance knowledge and understanding of GAAP financial reporting standards.
• Eye for details – attention to quality and accuracy is of paramount importance in this role.
