ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril s Corporate Finance team plays a critical role in driving strategic decision-making and financial performance across the organization. As part of the FP&A function, we partner closely with business leaders to manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans that enable Anduril to scale rapidly while maintaining financial discipline. Our team is responsible for SG&A financial planning, cash flow management, performance monitoring, and delivering insights that inform executive leadership.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our rapidly growing Corporate FP&A team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting financial planning, budgeting, and analysis activities for multiple SG&A departments across the organization. You will work alongside senior finance professionals to prepare monthly reports, build financial models, analyze variances, and contribute to quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.

This will require strong analytical abilities, proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, and excellent attention to detail. WHAT YOU LL DO
  • Support reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities for SG&A departments across the organization
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans alongside cross-functional teams including Corporate Operations and Accounting
  • Analyze financial data and performance trends, preparing reports and identifying key insights and variances
  • Help prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review
  • Build and maintain financial models under the guidance of senior analysts to support strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analyses and sensitivity assessments for various business scenarios
  • Support cash flow forecasting efforts and assist with balance sheet analyses
  • Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring data accuracy and proper GL coding
  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end close processes
  • Help identify opportunities to streamline FP&A workflows and improve reporting efficiency through automation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (graduated within the last 12 months)
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and charts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn complex financial concepts
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous internship experience in finance, corporate FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or accounting
  • Exposure to financial modeling and data analysis through coursework or practical experience
  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools or ERP systems (e.g., Anaplan, Net Suite, Oracle, SAP)
