Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000/year (Dependent on experience)

A rapidly growing, Tier-1 organization in the automotive parts and manufacturing industry is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Costa Mesa. This isn't just a corporate spreadsheet role—you will act as the financial bridge between our operations, supply chain, and executive leadership teams.

• Drive the Financial
  
  Roadmap:
  
  Own the coordination of annual budgeting, rolling quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial modeling across multiple operational entities.
• Operational Variance & OPEX Control:
  Act as the strategic watchdog for plant and distribution performance. Conduct detailed variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget), identifying the root causes of cost fluctuations in material, labor, and overhead.
• Build the Visuals:
  Design, maintain, and automate executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and PowerPoint presentations that give leadership clear visibility into business performance.
• Advanced Scenario Modeling:
  Create complex, scalable financial models for sensitivity analysis, capacity planning, and capital expenditures (Cap Ex) to support major business decisions.
• Bridge Finance & Accounting:
  Partner closely with the accounting and corporate treasury teams to ensure month-end accuracy, reconcile key operational ledgers, and optimize cash flow visibility.

3 to 5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with a distinct preference for candidates coming out of manufacturing, automotive, distribution, or heavy logistics.

Advanced, bulletproof Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, Macro exposure) and experience navigating ERP systems. PowerBI, Tableau, or similar dashboarding experience is a massive plus.

Strong understanding of standard costing, product margins, inventory dynamics, and how operational shifts flow through the P&L and Balance Sheet.

The ability to confidently present data to senior stakeholders and translate numbers into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
