The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences while driving sales for the assigned brand. This role combines selling, teaching, customer relationship building, and counter management in a commissioned retail environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers' goals.
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
- Manage vendor events and promotions, and build strong vendor relationships.
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, customer-ready department and keep current on beauty trends and products.
- Process sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
- Passion for beauty, customer service, trends, makeup application, and skincare.
- Strong customer connection, communication, multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to remain in continuous movement during shifts and lift items up to 25 pounds occasionally.
