Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week), flexible start between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM

We are seeking a Business Services Supervisor – Managed Care to lead the Government Billing team responsible for hospital (institutional) Medicare and Medi-Cal billing and collections
.

This role requires strong hands-on Traditional Medicare hospital billing expertise
, especially across the entire institutional claim lifecycle (from submission to final resolution). The Supervisor will oversee approximately 12 employees and act as the primary escalation point for complex Medicare claim issues.

• Oversee Traditional Medicare institutional billing (inpatient & outpatient)
• Manage full claim lifecycle:
• 837I submission
• RTP corrections
• Underpayment identification
• Appeals preparation and tracking
• Monitor production, denial prevention, and timely follow-up
• Ensure compliance with CMS and Medi-Cal regulations

• 3+ years hospital Revenue Cycle experience
• 3+ years hospital AR management
• Strong experience with:
• Medi-Cal
• PPO/HMO adjudications
• Institutional (hospital) billing experience — NOT professional billing
