JOB OVERVIEW:
The ideal Night Audit candidate will have some previous Front Desk Agent experience, exceptional communication skills, very detail oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for positive, upbeat individuals who can deliver total guest satisfaction, and produce very accurate work.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:- Must stay at the front desk for the entirety of their working shift (minus breaks) and to print necessary reports.
- Must notify security to cover the front desk/lobby area during state-mandated breaks and during report printing.
- Answer phone calls during the shift.
- Register guests and receive payments
- Update the status of guests.
- Ensure the accuracy of the accounts and transactions made with the customers.
- Create daily management reports, this help to maintain a regular track of the business.
- Produce pro-forma folios for the guests who will be departing the next day.
- Other than the accounting function, Night Auditors are asked to maintain front desk. These include looking after check-in, check-out, responding to customers' needs, attending their queries, housekeeping requests and reservations etc.
- Maintain phone charges and dry cleaning issues.
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be a numbers person
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Must be a US citizen or have a valid US work Permit/Visa
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
- Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to stay awake and alert during non-conventional hours
- Ability to type, standing upright for entire shift.
- Heavy work
- Exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 50 lbs of force frequently and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects - Must arrive to work well groomed, with pristine hygiene, and professional attire
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to work and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure

- High school diploma
- Experience as Front Desk Agent
- Previous customer/guest service experience a plus
- Very detail oriented.
