Hybrid Payroll Clerk: Oracle​/Ceridian Expert

We’re partnering with a leading financial services company to find a Payroll Clerk for a 4 month project opportunity located in Costa Mesa, CA. Must be able to work on a hybrid basis.

Payroll Clerk Responsibilities:

• Managing accurate data entry and reconciliation of payroll information, including wages, taxes, and deductions.
• Ensuring the correctness of payroll records by reviewing wages and correcting discrepancies.
• Recording changes impacting net pay, such as exemption statuses and insurance coverage.
• Compiling and generating reports related to earnings, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintaining comprehensive payroll records and preparing paychecks.

Payroll Clerk Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of payroll experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle and Ceridian payroll systems.
• Ability to compile, review, and reconcile payroll data accurately.
• Experience with recording employee data such as exemptions, insurance, and departmental transfers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
