We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with experience supporting large-scale mainframe to cloud migration initiatives. This role focuses on driving execution across cloud transformation programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery in fast-paced environments. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with a solid understanding of cloud technologies and software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support mainframe to cloud migration programs, ensuring successful planning and execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Drive program execution with a strong focus on timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Manage risks, escalations, and dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
- Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure effective solution delivery.
- Support operational activities such as system upgrades, maintenance windows, and incident tracking.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, Service Now, and Kanban boards for tracking and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with client-facing and internal teams.
- Experience managing or supporting mainframe to cloud migration programs as a Technical Project or Program Manager.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud technologies, and software engineering concepts.
- Experience supporting open-source and cloud-based application environments.
- Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with the ability to manage escalations.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Service Now, Kanban, and ITSM frameworks.
- Experience in operations support, including upgrades, maintenance, and ticket management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
