Position OverviewThe ERP & Systems Operations Manager owns and optimizes the company’s operational systems across fulfillment, shipping, inventory, accounting, and ERP infrastructure. This role is responsible for administering ERP platforms, automating manual fulfillment workflows, and ensuring clean system alignment between operations, finance, and logistics.
This individual serves as the internal systems expert with deep, hands‑on experience in Zoho (Inventory, Books, and related modules) and Quick Books
, while also supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of an MRP/ERP system such as ERPNext
.
The core objective of this role is to convert fragmented, manual processes into scalable, automated workflows that support growth, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities ERP & Systems OwnershipAdminister, support, and optimize the Zoho ecosystem (Zoho Inventory, Zoho Books, and related modules) across operations and finance
Manage system integrations between Zoho, Quick Books, shipping platforms, and warehouse workflows
Act as the internal subject‑matter expert for ERP tools, troubleshooting issues and improving system performance
Support ERPNext MRP/ERP implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization as the system scales
Fulfillment & Shipping OperationsOversee fulfillment systems and workflows from order intake through shipment and reconciliation
Convert manual fulfillment processes into automated, system‑driven workflows
Improve pick/pack accuracy, shipping speed, inventory visibility, and order tracking
Partner with warehouse and operations teams to ensure system logic aligns with real‑world execution
Automation & Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in current workflows and design automated solutions using ERP tools
Standardize SOPs across fulfillment, inventory, purchasing, and shipping
Reduce human error through system logic, automation rules, and validations
Support scalable operations as order volume, SKUs, and locations increase
Inventory, MRP & Supply Chain SupportSupport inventory accuracy, lot tracking, reorder points, and forecasting through ERP systems
Assist with MRP logic, purchasing workflows, and vendor coordination using ERPNext or related tools
Align inventory data across ERP, accounting, and fulfillment systems
Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and Leadership teams
Ensure accounting data flows cleanly between ERP systems and Quick Books
Train internal teams on system usage, best practices, and new automations
Serve as the bridge between technical systems and operational execution
Required Qualifications4+ years of experience in ERP systems, systems operations, or fulfillment technology roles
Advanced, hands‑on experience with Zoho (Inventory, Books, or full Zoho ecosystem)
Strong working knowledge of Quick Books and accounting system integrations
Experience supporting or implementing ERP/MRP systems (ERPNext strongly preferred)
Proven success converting manual processes into automated workflows
Deep understanding of fulfillment, shipping, and inventory operations
Strong problem‑solving, documentation, and process design skills
Preferred QualificationsExperience in CPG, food & beverage, wellness, hemp, or regulated product environments
Experience working with warehouses, 3PLs, or in‑house fulfillment teams
Familiarity with barcode systems, WMS logic, and shipping platforms
Ability to operate hands‑on while also designing scalable systems
