Civil Defense Litigation Associate

Location: Los Angeles, CA OR Costa Mesa, CA (Hybrid)

• Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Prepare and argue motions and attend court hearings
• Take and defend depositions
• Assist with case evaluation, strategy development, and trial preparation
• Communicate proactively with clients regarding case status and strategy
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting in compliance with client guidelines

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing with the California State Bar
• 2+ years of civil or general litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, mediations, and motion practice

• Competitive base salary of $125,000–$180,000 based on experience
