Supply Chain Specialist Manager

Job Purpose A Supply Chain Specialist ensures the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers, focusing on optimizing processes, maintaining inventory, and reducing costs. They analyze data to improve supply chain performance, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate logistics. The manager provides end-to-end operations, reviews procurement and is on top of inventory control. They play a critical role in minimizing costs, reducing waste, and improving operational efficiency to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the supply chain, planning and members of the Operations.
  • Procurement & sourcing:
    Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage purchasing, including issuing purchase orders (POs).
  • Data analysis & process improvement:
    Analyze KPIs to identify inefficiencies such as bottlenecks and implement improvements.
  • Collaboration & communication:
    Work with cross‑functional teams (procurement, sales, manufacturing) to ensure alignment and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations, international trade rules, and company policies.
  • Customer quoting:
    Use Module Quote system for customer quotes, budgetary quotes for special projects, Cisco quarterly adder and pricing (DIMM and eUSB), and follow up of quote feedbacks with Sales.
  • Price and allocation negotiation with chip vendors (DRAM, NAND, etc.), PO expedites for critical materials, material sourcing from open markets / brokers, risk‑buy strategy and implementation, inventory review, analysis, disposition, and disposal of slow‑move/dead inventory.
  • Sales forecast consolidation and demand forecasting to major suppliers (DRAM, NAND, Controller, etc.).
  • Reporting: DRAM global quarterly sales results and share ranking, DRAM spot price trend updates, market information updates to Sales, NAND global quarterly sales results and share ranking, memory vendor quarterly financial results, Viking/NPI sales results by OEM and product category for Q , Sanmina‑Viking VI report review and analysis, vendor spend report.
  • Tariff tracking sheet management and tariff charge review and analysis report.
  • Update Sanmina/VI opportunities for Viking Technology and Phison turnkey SSD project update report.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
  • 10 – 15 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar role.

    Proficiency in supply chain software, such as ERP systems (Oracle, Net Suite) etc.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Strong ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.
  • Communication & Negotiation:
    Excellent interpersonal skills for managing vendor relationships and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Additional

    Skills:

    High attention to detail, strong problem‑solving capabilities, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Salary and Benefits

Salary Range (annual): $90,000 - $.
Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
