Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Procurement / Purchasing
As a Contracts Analyst, you will join the Contracts Management Group and work with the purchasing and project teams to support the overall successful bid and buyout process for our projects. This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity for a detail‑oriented individual looking to build a career in contracts management; we are fully prepared to train the right candidate from the ground up.
Responsibilities- Develop strong, positive, and productive working relationships with purchasing and project teams.
- Review, assemble, and process subcontracts to ensure they align with company standards and mitigate risk before issuance.
- Review budgets from purchasing and project teams and input them into the internal system.
- Maintain and update budgets through completion of the purchasing process.
- Interface regularly with senior management, Risk Management, Legal, and Central Business Partner Group.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and a collaborative team player.
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn, adapt, and be trained in company‑specific standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter and able to work independently.
- Basic understanding of the construction industry and subcontract agreements.
- 2+ years of related experience (including equivalent studies in college).
The role involves prolonged periods of focused desk work, reviewing complex documents, and using a computer. You should be comfortable moving throughout the office and traveling occasionally to construction sites. You are required to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds on occasion. All work must be performed in accordance with Clark Construction’s safety policies and applicable laws.
WorkHours and Availability
The position is demanding and may require extended hours during critical project phases or client deadlines. Availability to respond to phone, email, or text communication outside of regular hours may be necessary during emergencies or time‑sensitive matters.
Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range: $70,500–$90,000. The total compensation package includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package—health, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; retirement/401(k) with company contribution; life and disability insurance; commuter benefit; FSA; tuition reimbursement; backup daycare and family support benefits; EAP/Work‑Life assistance; and holiday contributions.
