Technician - Inspection

Our client, the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a Technician - Inspection to join their team. As a Technician - Inspection, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting manufacturing and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

** 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM PST

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform dimensional and visual inspections of machined components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure conformance with design specifications and quality standards.

+ Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to conduct complex, high-precision measurements and first-article inspections (FAI).

+ Conduct manual inspections using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.

+ Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.

+ Document and report inspection results through detailed reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and data for quality review and statistical analysis.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

+ Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quality Control environment, especially with machined components.

+ At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating CMM equipment.

+ Proven manual inspection skills with precision measurement tools.

+ Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data entry and documentation.
