The Planner/Scheduler provides administrative and operational support for quality-related processes, including performance tracking, reporting, and coordination of internal and external feedback.
Hours:
1st shift 6am-2:30pm
Days:
Monday-Friday
- Plan and schedule daily and weekly production activities to meet delivery, quality, and throughput requirements.
- Create, release, and track work orders while coordinating labor, equipment, and materials across finishing processes.
- Monitor production status, adjusting schedules as needed to address changes in demand, equipment availability, or capacity.
- Communicate priorities and schedule updates to production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Track key production metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, flow, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain planning data, reports, and documentation within ERP or production tracking systems.
- Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing or metal finishing environment.
- Strong understanding of shop-floor operations, work orders, and production flow.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
