We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing test fixtures and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with Test Engineers to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing test fixtures and test equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.
  • Ensure all test equipment remains operational, calibrated, and production-ready.
  • Collaborate with Test Engineers to resolve equipment issues and improve system performance.
  • Complete assigned maintenance tasks accurately and within established timelines.
  • Perform workflow scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Work occasional overtime and weekends as required to support production needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Technical Trade School Certificate, Military Technical Training, or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Manufacturing Test Technician, Electronics Technician, Electrical Technician, or similar role.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing test equipment and fixtures.
  • Hands‑on experience using:
  • Digital Volt Meters (DVM)
  • Multimeters
  • Knowledge of basic electronic circuits, soldering techniques, and electronic assembly repair.
  • Experience using hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience performing 480V high-voltage testing
    .
  • Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing or production environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, push, and pull as part of daily job duties.
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs when required.
  • Must have good color vision to identify color-coded wiring and cables.
