We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Manager of Consumer Insights to drive our consumer research initiatives. This role is pivotal in understanding and translating consumer behavior, preferences, and trends into actionable insights that shape business strategies and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of market research methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly and compellingly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Exercise independent discretion and judgment in designing and executing consumer research projects to develop insights on customer preferences, behaviors, and trends.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methods, including surveys, focus groups, and data analytics to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Provide meaningful support and directional guidance at all phases of product development and brand marketing.
  • Manage external research suppliers, including RFPs and SOWs.
  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations on consumer insights for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that drive business strategy and improve customer experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities for actionable insights for leadership.
  • Offer insights and recommendations on emerging trends and their potential impacts on the business.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams—marketing, product development, operations, and store development—to integrate consumer insights into strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee the management and utilization of consumer data and research tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, staying updated on the latest research methodologies and technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the overall guest experience based on consumer feedback and insights.
  • Develop strategies to address customer opportunities identified in data analysis and improve satisfaction.
  • Source and synthesize information from secondary or syndicated research sources to enrich primary research findings or address ad hoc requests.
  • Identify research gaps and emerging areas of interest proactively, staying informed about cultural trends and market dynamics to keep research relevant and forward‑thinking.

Education/Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Psychology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including survey design, data collection, and analysis.
  • Ability to work at the Support Center consistent with the hybrid work policy.
