Brunch Cook

We’re looking for an experienced Brunch Cook to join our restaurant and bar team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, brings a strong sense of urgency to service, and takes pride in executing high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes. This position is especially suited for cooks with high-volume brunch experience, including confidence working a short‑order egg station and managing busy service periods with speed and consistency.

Weekend availability is required.

The Role
  • Prepare fresh ingredients and menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
  • Cook brunch and breakfast dishes accurately and efficiently during high-volume service
  • Execute short‑order items, including eggs and breakfast staples, with speed and consistency
  • Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and temperature of all food items
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
  • Monitor food quality, rotate stock, and ensure freshness of ingredients
  • Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency
  • Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure the kitchen is prepared for service
  • Uphold all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines
Requirements and Skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume breakfast or brunch kitchen preferred
  • Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handler Certificate
  • Strong short‑order cooking skills, including egg station experience
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
