Overview
The Hermès South Coast Plaza boutique opened in 1997 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as part of the Pacific West Region. This role reports to the Floor Director and supports the client experience in a fast‑paced, luxury environment.
Responsibilities- Achieve monthly and annual individual sales goals while working as part of a team to meet boutique targets.
- Organize and prioritize the selling floor to support the sales effort and overall client experience. Ensure items (bags, boxes, note cards, ribbon, stationary) are stocked at all times and maintain selling floor standards including straightening, filling in and replenishment following VM guidelines, physical EAS tagging, ticketing, etc.
- Provide assistance as needed in inventory preparation.
- Process and ensure the accuracy of all transactions (including receipts, CRM files, SKUs, monetary payment and client verification). Partner with management on POS decisions, opening and closing procedures and communicate discrepancies.
- Manage opening and closing of the daily till, monitor assets, approve returns and exchanges, and secure Management approval for any exceptional requests.
- Follow all asset protection procedures including store access, alarm protocols, bag checks and key log controls; practice appropriate AP techniques and comply with guidelines for EAS tagging and ticketing.
- Consistently provide high levels of service to clients within the Hermès standard of service: prompt and friendly greeting, offer to assist and answer questions, and assist with wrapping and packaging at POS.
- 2+ years of experience in sales and/or supervisory capacity, experience in a luxury environment preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Even‑tempered with ability to continuously multi‑task.
- Self‑starter and able to work independently while balancing collaboration with a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Open availability to accommodate needs of the business.
- Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs. without assistance.
The range for this position is $28.16 - $31.12. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
