Overview
Our Sales Lead role is integral to the success of the HOKA Brand. As a Sales Lead, you will serve as the Manager on Duty during your shift, driving business KPIs and ensuring a flawless customer experience.
Responsibilities- Serve as Manager on Duty during your shift, driving business KPIs such as sales, conversion, ATV, customer capture, and NPS.
- Open and close the store, secure all assets, and maintain compliance with policies.
- Motivate and lead team members to achieve sales, conversion, ATV, and NPS targets.
- Create personalized shopping experiences that educate customers about the HOKA Brand and products.
- Maintain product knowledge, stay current on HOKA technology, and address customer inquiries accurately.
- Operate the cash register, handle money accurately, check inventory daily, and ensure products are stocked and merchandised according to brand standards.
- Model an optimistic and energetic attitude, promote the brand image, and maintain a respectful workplace.
- Maintain a clean and organized back‑stock and employee break area.
- Recognize outstanding performance from team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Support community outreach and in‑store events.
- Assist with store administration and operations, including compliance with corporate policies.
- Support retail programs that enhance the customer journey.
- Drive key hourly business targets such as sales, conversion, ATV, customer capture, and NPS.
- Deliver the highest level of customer service per the HOKA Expert Service Program.
- Prioritize brand and product knowledge training and share this knowledge in customer interactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, management, and corporate stakeholders.
- Empower team members through communication and recognition.
- Respond to problems or difficult situations with professionalism.
- Think critically to solve problems and approach challenges with agility.
- Two (2) years of retail experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication skills, conveying the HOKA and Deckers Brands Vision, Mission, and Values to team members and customers.
- Highly motivated team player and self‑starter.
- Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and excel in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and hours to meet the needs of the business.
- Valid State or Federal Identification.
$20.50 per hour. Salary reflects the target for new hire salaries for this role at this specific store location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
