Customer Service & Operations Clerk

New York Hardware is seeking a junior level, reliable, detail-oriented Customer Service & Operations Clerk to join our team. This entry level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, design-focused environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for supporting daily showroom operations, assisting customers, and maintaining organized, accurate displays.

• Open and process incoming orders
• Ensure all displays are accurately priced and up to date
• Update and move showroom displays as needed
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally
• Handle shipping and receiving of products and inventory
• Assist with customer pick-ups and order coordination
• Other functions or duties requested of you to support the Company

• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 30+ lbs
• Comfortable with standing, moving, and handling heavy displays, shipments, and inventory throughout the day

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Previous retail, showroom, or customer service experience preferred (but not required)

Compensation: This role pays $16.90 hourly. As a full-time employee, you would be eligible for company benefits.
