Job Description & How to Apply Below

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.

As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company on a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities. By applying the technology and business model of today’s most innovative companies to defense, we are changing how military systems are designed, built, and sold—powered by Lattice OS, our AI-driven operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real‑time, 3D command‑and‑control center.

The Air Defense team builds robots that find other robots and knock them out of the sky. At a time when air superiority can no longer be taken for granted, the Air Defense team provides mission critical capabilities to warfighters. From detection to tracking, identification, deterrence, and defeat, our family of networked sensors and effectors enables our customers to rapidly close the kill chain against a broad range of UAS threats.

This role partners with program, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to translate business activity into revenue, COGS, and margin on the P&L.

This role is at the Senior Financial Analyst level. Supporting Air Defense business line, you will own product and program financial management, income statement forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple products and programs. Partnering closely with program management, proposals and capture, production, and business line leadership, you will explain financial performance and variance analysis at the contract, product, and per‑unit level to cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Own the financial management of key programs within the Air Defense business area, from bookings through delivery and closeout
  • Partner closely with the proposals and capture team to win new opportunities—shaping cost structure, pricing strategy, and margin targets that make bids competitive and profitable
  • Drive the financial execution and profitability of new and existing programs, owning the P&L outcome across the program lifecycle
  • Apply a working knowledge of government contracting (contract types, cost accounting, and compliance) while thinking strategically and outside the box to support the needs of a non‑traditional defense company
  • Own rolling monthly forecasts, working closely with key engineering stakeholders (Product, Program, and Engineering Leads)
  • Work with program management to develop and maintain ETC forecasts and EAC integrity
  • Analyze and monitor contract and product profit margins
  • Deliver monthly internal management reporting through presentations and written communications
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis at multiple accounting levels
  • Build reports and automated dashboards in FP&A and ERP tools (Oracle, Foundry)
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams across the full work order lifecycle—from work definitions and bills of material through build associations, WIP, and finished goods—to ensure production activity is captured and costed accurately
  • Ad hoc support and special projects
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years (Senior Financial Analyst) of experience as a financial analyst or in a related finance/accounting role
