Operations & Retail Internship

The Tone:

This is an in-person internship at Porsche Design of America, located in the US. Porsche Design of America manages the retail and operational aspects of a luxury lifestyle brand, bringing high-quality products to market. This role is crucial for supporting the smooth execution of retail and operational processes, ensuring efficient data management, and contributing to strategic initiatives. The intern will play an integral part in the daily operations of the retail division.

• Mission:
  To support retail and operations efficiency through project execution, data management, and direct store and marketing assistance.
• Tech Stack: SAP, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Project Management:
  Manage general project tasks, including resource allocation, project analysis, design, and implementation for process improvements.
• Data Processing & Reporting:
  Process and maintain data using SAP, prepare Excel presentations, and create/analyze sales reports to monitor business performance.
• Operations & Logistics Support:
  Assist in ongoing process workflows within operations and logistics, and contribute to tactical department support.
• Retail Store Coordination:
  Support corporate retail stores by working directly with store managers and coordinating retail activities with the German parent company.
• Marketing Implementation:
  Support the implementation of marketing plan activities, especially events, collaborations, and promotions.

• Background:
  Recent graduate or current Junior/Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus on Operations, Retail, or a comparable field.
• Experience:
  
  Previous internship or work experience is preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Proficient computer skills in SAP and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and time management expertise.
• Bonus:
  Fluency in German is a plus but not a requirement.
