The Hermès South Coast Plaza Boutique opened in 1997 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as part of the Pacific West Region. This position reports to the Managing Director and collaborates with the sales team and selling support teams to support the client experience in a fast‑paced, luxury environment.
OpportunityThe primary responsibilities of a Selling Supervisor are to achieve selling and customer service objectives while adhering to operational asset protection standards.
About the Role- Sales Objectives
- Accountable for meeting monthly and annual individual sales goals while working as part of a team to achieve the boutique’s collective target.
- Organize and prioritize the selling floor; keep all items stocked; maintain floor standards per VM guidelines, EAS tagging, ticketing, etc.
- Assist in inventory preparation as needed.
- POS
- Process and ensure the accuracy of all transactions and manage after‑sales service when needed.
- Communicate POS discrepancies and variances at closing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation.
- Asset Protection
- Comply with all asset protection procedures (sign‑ins, bag checks, key control, EAS tagging, ticketing).
- Participate in physical inventory and monthly cycle counts.
- Customer Service
- Consistently provide high levels of service in line with Hermès standards: greeting, assistance, packaging.
- Supervisory Responsibility

- 2+ years of sales experience; experience in a luxury environment preferred.
- Strong relationship development and impeccable communication skills.
- Even‑tempered with ability to multi‑task.
- Self‑starter, works independently and collaborates with the team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Open availability to accommodate the needs of the business.
- Can lift 0‑25 lbs without assistance.
The hourly range for this position is $28.00 to $31.00 per hour. Rates are determined by job, location, and experience.
