Looking for a Junior-Mid level Candidate (B2B Sales Experience 3-10 years ) Position:Business Development
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains existing customer and supplier accounts by facilitating regular meetings, promoting new materials, suggesting improved workflow/ logistics, and other project management duties.
- Manage requests from new customer/supplier inquiries.
- Search for prospective new customers from warm leads, or by making cold calls and/or visits.
- Primarily will work with clients in industries related to Chemical, IT (High Tech), Automotive, Electronics, new industry etc.
- Coordinates supplier visits from overseas and visits existing customers together to solve problems regarding material supply and compliance, or in case of new business development, coordinates business start-up by assisting to complete NDA, coordinate samples for evaluation, etc. as well as propose commercial business model and workflow.
- Finds new suppliers/vendors for customers and prepare quotations, negotiates prices between suppliers and customers, and promotes total supply chain proposal.
- Coordinates activity for Trade Shows/Exhibitions, including registration, booth setup and attendance for promotion of various materials and/or services.
- May be requested to perform business-level English/Japanese translation, if candidate has the applicable skills.
- Other special projects assigned by the upper management or company initiative.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business related major is preferred.
- Industrial Sales
Experience:
industries such as electrical/electronic components, chemical products, Automotive, and other technical related. - 3-10 years of B to B sales experience is required.
- Requires thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creation of research, reporting and presentations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills necessary.
- Ability to adapt to a cross-cultural environment is critical.
- Ability to travel up to 30% in the US and internationally (requires valid driver's license and passport)
- Japanese language skill is highly appreciated, but not mandatory.

- Base Salary: 70-100K (DOE)
