** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and communicate directions and/or information in a professional manner.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or local emergency services as needed.

+ Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
