Security, Education, Training and Awareness Manager

Costa Mesa, California, United States

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.

As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

About The Job

Anduril is seeking a self-motivated and creative Security Education Training & Awareness (SETA) Manager to own and elevate our security education program. You will leverage your expertise in US government security policies (Industrial & Special Programs) to design, update, and deliver engaging training materials both in-person and digitally. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will build trust across all levels of the company to foster a strong, proactive security culture.

If you are an ambitious problem-solver who enjoys translating complex security policies into clear, actionable resources, this role is for you.

What You'll Do
  • Program Ownership:
Manage and scale Anduril's SETA program, designing innovative training methods across multiple channels (in-person, Slack, Confluence, email).
  • Content Creation:
Partner with Anduril Program Leadership to develop an internal training initiative to bridge the gap between security and Anduril classified programs, fostering early engagement to secure the necessary classified space and cleared staffing ahead of schedule.
  • Strategic Partnership:
Partner with FSOs, CSSOs, Program Managers, and the PERSEC team to update annual refresher courses and assign program-specific training.
  • Onboarding & Briefings:
Conduct engaging onboarding briefings, debriefings, and compliance training that go beyond "reading slides" to ensure true comprehension.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
Maintain tracking metrics, update internal databases, and provide detailed security status reports to security leadership.
  • Security Engagement and External Partnerships:
Develop and manage an on-site Security Speaker Series by establishing partnerships with federal, state, and local law enforcement and government agencies-including FBI, local police departments, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other government partners-to deliver presentations on key security topics. Foster strong relationships with external partners to enhance employee awareness and strengthen Anduril's security culture.
  • Security Awareness Campaigns:
Lead enterprise-wide security awareness campaigns, workshops, tabletops discussions, and special events that promote a proactive security mindset and reinforce Anduril's commitment to protecting classified information, technology, facilities, and personnel.
Required Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate is an experienced leader holding a Bachelor's degree and possessing the proven ability to motivate and guide a workforce through a dynamic organizational culture shift.
  • Self-driven, go-getter, ambitious mentality, willing to think outside the box, find gaps, and fix them. Ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize workload based on urgency.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of instructional systems design, a proven ability to deliver high-impact briefings, and a thorough understanding of the educational methodologies and compliance procedures necessary to design effective training.
  • Creativity and professionalism; be able to create training that is easy for all personnel to understand, complies with government policy, and incorporates Anduril processes and procedures. Gives people what they need to know to do their jobs.
  • Experience with DoD 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07 and applicable Intelligence Community Standards (ICS).
  • Ability to communicate and interact professionally and courteously both orally and in writing with all levels of employees and customers
  • Must hold a current U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
