Position: Repair Technician 1

Canon U.S.A. is seeking a Repair Technician 1 to join our Technical & Maintenance team in the Electronics industry. In this entry-level role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Canon imaging and printing products-including cameras, printers, and scanners-following strict quality and safety standards. Working hands-on with diagnostic tools and service manuals, you'll document repairs, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair Canon imaging, printing, and optical equipment to component level where applicable
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and testing to ensure product quality and reliability
  • Use diagnostic tools, schematics, and service documentation to identify root causes of failures
  • Document repairs, parts usage, and service outcomes in company systems with accuracy
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and engineering to resolve complex technical issues
  • Adhere to Canon quality, safety, and ESD standards in a lab and/or field environment
  • Communicate repair status and technical findings clearly to supervisors and support teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Canon's Kyosei philosophy
