Facilities Technician

Our client, a leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a Facilities Technician 4 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 4, you will be part of the operations supporting the maintenance and engineering excellence of world-class facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $42 to $46 per hour

• Oversee and supervise facility operations and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of building systems.
• Perform comprehensive inspections and maintenance on equipment including fire/life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and backup systems.
• Respond promptly to alarms and system malfunctions, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage site operations, permits, and inventory of tools and supplies to support ongoing maintenance needs.
• Lead safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.

• Experience in industrial or commercial maintenance, preferably at the journeyman or master level.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Ability to perform equipment inspections, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain operational records.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
• Availability to participate in rotating on-call schedules for emergency response.
