We are seeking a highly skilled, forward‑thinking Dev Ops Engineer to help design, build, and scale the technology infrastructure that powers our e‑commerce and internal platforms. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, infrastructure, and emerging AI‑driven development practices. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is passionate about leveraging modern tools—including agentic coding systems and generative AI workflows—to push the limits of development productivity and platform scalability.
You will work closely with web developers, software engineers, and data teams to build reliable infrastructure, streamline development workflows, and deploy high‑performance applications across cloud environments.

Location: Z SUPPLY Headquarters – Costa Mesa, CA
Work Type: HYBRID, In office 3‑4 Days / Remote 1‑2 Days
Position Duties / Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure supporting e‑commerce platforms and internal software systems.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and development workflows to support rapid, reliable application deployment.
- Collaborate with e‑commerce web development and software engineering teams to improve deployment processes, developer tooling, and system reliability.
- Architect and maintain cloud‑native web application environments including containerization, infrastructure automation, and deployment orchestration.
- Develop and maintain data engineering pipelines, database integrations, and system‑to‑system data workflows.
- Implement and scale generative AI workflows and automation systems, including platforms such as n8n, Comfy
UI, and other AI orchestration frameworks. - Utilize modern AI development methodologies, including orchestrating agentic coding systems to accelerate development and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security across production environments.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies that improve engineering productivity and infrastructure performance.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business goals and supports future growth.
- Potential Travel up to 1‑2 times per year for position training / conference requirements.
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering roles.
- Strong experience managing and deploying systems on AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, S3, RDS, etc).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker).
- Proven experience supporting e‑commerce web development environments and software engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD workflows, automation, and development lifecycle tooling.
- Strong programming skills with hands‑on development experience in JavaScript, Ruby, and Python.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, database integrations, and backend infrastructure.
- Experience implementing or scaling generative AI systems and workflows.
- Familiarity with AI automation/orchestration tools such as Comfy
UI, n8n, or similar platforms. - Experience integrating AI‑assisted development or agentic coding workflows into engineering processes.
