Job SummaryThe Shipping Coordinator will manage and oversee the shipping and logistics processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate efficient shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage shipping schedules and logistics.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including labels, bills of lading, and customs forms.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
- Optimize shipping processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures, regulations, and documentation.
- Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
