Purpose StatementThe job of Warehouse Foreman is to maintain required inventory levels; ensure specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verify stock and identify losses; maintain an organized warehouse layout; and direct assigned workers to complete assignments safely, properly and timely.
Essential Functions- Attends meetings to receive and/or convey information.
- Conducts physical inventories to update computer inventory and identify losses.
- Coordinates scheduling of services for assigned areas to meet staffing requirements and comply with regulations.
- Coordinates warehouse purchases with purchasing to keep expenditures within budget.
- Maintains files and records for documentation and resource information.
- Maintains warehouse inventory to ensure availability of required items.
- Responds to inquiries to provide requested information or refer to appropriate resources.
- Supervises assigned personnel to administer procedures, monitor performance and achieve departmental objectives.
- Trains personnel (e.g., forklift, powered electric equipment) to develop safety awareness skills complying with OSHA regulations.
- Assists other personnel as needed to support completion of work activities.
Learning Development – Level C: Sufficient to read and write technical instruction, understand standardized methods, operate specialized equipment, and perform standard mathematical applications. Includes some technical or vocational training beyond high school, often resulting in a certification.

Fort Lift Certificate; valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card while employed.
