Building Supervisor
The Building Supervisor is a part-time, seasonal position responsible for the security of the building, cash, and all of the arena equipment. They also resurface the ice and maintain cleanliness in the building. Scheduled shifts include evenings and weekends. This position requires indoor and outdoor work, under all types of weather conditions.
Essential Job Functions1. Supervise all operations of the building:
- Supervise all part-time staff: maintenance and office staff
- Manage daily ice schedules and locker room schedules
- Troubleshoot building/equipment problems
- Administer minor first-aid and complete accident reports
- Enforce Ice Arena policies
- Open and close the building for public use
- Supervisor is primary contact between facility and customers
2. Maintain ice via resurfacing machine, edging and patching to assure a quality sheet of ice for customers
3. Maintain a safe, clean and well-kept building at all times
4. Perform some equipment/building repair
5. Sell product/service to the public
6. Perform some office and administrative duties
7. Provide quality customer service to patrons
8. Perform all other duties as requested by full-time staff
Minimum Requirements- Must be 18 years of age or older
- One of relevant experience
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to manage cash flow
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear and write
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- The employee may occasionally climb a ladder, operate a lift, and operate a vehicle with multiple hand and foot operations
- Ability to walk on the ice surface
- Able to perform all essential position functions under the working conditions as described
- Self-motivated and a hard working individual
- Ability to provide high quality customer service
- Willingness to clean throughout the work day
