Production Technician I
Location:
Cottage Grove, MN (AMG) - ASU
Compensation
- $25-$35 per hour
- 4% Annual Bonus
- Mon-Fri, normal business hours – on call required
Job Description Summary
The Production Plant Technician is responsible for the operation and control of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption and carbon dioxide plants, and for caring for and maintaining plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment. The position supports startup, training, and coverage for regular production technicians.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor plant equipment; ensure safe and efficient production processes; troubleshoot equipment issues; maintain mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems; support other processing plants as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Understanding of control valve functioning and flow/pressure control on industrial tanks
- Experience troubleshooting plant equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a technical field
- Air Separation Plant or related industrial experience
- Knowledge of water treatment principles and equipment
- Basic understanding of refrigeration systems
- 1–3 years of industrial or cryogenic plant experience
- Electrical/Instrumentation background
