Join us as an EHS Specialist, where you'll put your love of science to work in the Consulting Services department. You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®.

Candidate will evaluate EHS facilities and processes with respect to potential hazards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Compensation: $22.00 - 28.00 per hour

What You'll Do
  • Work with client to ensure compliance with facility environmental, health, and safety policies and other applicable regulatory agencies
  • Conduct industrial hygiene sampling, such as noise dosimetry and air monitoring
  • Schedule and conduct respirator fit testing for employees
  • Assist with process hazard analysis and risk analysis assessments
  • Conduct environmental, health, and safety training
  • Coordinate sitewide safety initiatives
  • Work with business to audit daily work permits and report findings to supervisors
  • Complete ergonomic assessments of process tasks
  • Other Health and Safety tasks as needed by client
This Role May Include Environmental Responsibilities, Such As
  • Collect and process wastewater samples and interpret results for reporting
  • Coordinate various environmental sampling events and order and prep sampling supplies
  • Utilize air emission modeling software to track pollutant outputs
  • Assist with regulatory agency permitting processes for environmental compliance
  • Create and manage waste stream profiles for the processing of hazardous waste
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline
  • 1-2 years professional Environmental Health and Safety experience preferred
  • Safety experience in a manufacturing or pilot plant setting preferred
