Position: Elementary High School School Psychologist - Cottage Grove, OR

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist license in Oregon
• Certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience with students across elementary, middle, and high school is highly valued
• Strong skills in conducting evaluations and assessments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of diverse student needs and backgrounds
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for K-12 students
• Participate in eligibility meetings, contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and interpret evaluation results for staff and families
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support students' academic and social-emotional growth
• Provide consultation and recommendations for interventions and accommodations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with school and state requirements
• Support the school community by participating in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives as needed
