Our Academic and Tutoring Services Department, in the Academic Support and Innovation Division, is seeking to hire a Part-Time Academic Coach. This is an applicant pool posting. Variable work hours based on department needs. Schedule may vary with hours increasing during peak periods up to 20 hours per week, up to 1039 hours in a 12 month period. Schedules are generally set for one term at a time, but shorter duration or flexible assignments may be needed to meet demand.

Required Qualifications
Required
Education:
Two years of post-secondary education or training with course work in the area of assignment. Equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered qualifying.
Required Experience:
Two years of experience tutoring, mentoring, or otherwise providing one-on-one or group guidance to students at the college level.
Licensure or Certification Requirements
Conditions of Employment:
Successful applicants are required to complete a criminal background check. Infractions do not necessarily disqualify a candidate, and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Must work and reside in the state of Oregon at the time their work is being performed.

- Associate's degree or higher in area of tutoring specialization.

- Tutoring or other student-facing work experience at a community college. CRL Atutor certification
