Project Performance Field Specialist

As a Project Performance Field Specialist, you'll be on the front lines of our capital construction projects ensuring quality, safety, and compliance from the ground up. This is a highly autonomous, field-first role where your expertise directly influences project outcomes. You are the connection between planning and execution ensuring that what's happening in the field aligns with expectations, standards, and safety. Your ability to identify issues early, document clearly, and collaborate across teams helps keep projects on track and protects the integrity of ATC's infrastructure.
- Own material receipting and inspections across assigned project sites
- Conduct QA/QC field inspections to verify condition, quantity, and specifications
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conformances
- Perform field observations comparing contractor plans to field conditions
- Partner with contractors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Monitor material delays and risks
- Complete field documentation and reports
- Promote a strong safety culture
- Travel to project sites and work outdoors
- Strong field QA/QC mindset with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of transmission, substation, or distribution construction
- Balances execution with compliance rigor
- Strong collaboration with contractors and teams
- Proactive risk identification
- Comfortable working independently
- Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience (e.g. IBEW Journeyman)
- 5+ years of relevant construction experience
- Experience working with contractors and field crews
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety practices
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel

The targeted base pay for this position is $103,400 to $120,600 annually.
