Location:
Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $25-$26/hour (DOE)
Position Type:
Contract to Hire
Job Description
* Prepare and deliver timely monthly financial statements for assigned properties
* Perform month‑end close including journal entries, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
* Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting standards
* Review and approve accounts payable, deposits, and accounts receivable activity
* Assist with budgets, forecasts, audits, and client financial inquiries
Qualifications
* Property management or real estate accounting experience required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Experience with property management accounting software such as Yardi, App Folio, Entrata, or CYMA
* Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
* High attention to detail with strong organizational and math skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients
