We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands‑on Co-Controller to help lead our accounting and financial operations in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Working in partnership with the Senior Controller and financial leadership team, the Co-Controller helps direct the Company's accounting function and safeguards the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and integrity of financial information. The role combines strategic financial partnership with hands‑on oversight of general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, payroll- and benefits‑related payments, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audits, tax compliance, and multi-entity operations.

The successful candidate will maintain a strong command of day-to-day accounting details while providing clear financial insight and practical recommendations that support profitability, operational efficiency, growth, and long‑term business strategy.

• Partner with the Senior Controller to oversee daily accounting operations and maintain a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete general ledger records and ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and Company policies.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including timely processing of vendor obligations, invoicing, collections, and appropriate controls within Quick Books.
• Review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and other accounting transactions; maintain the chart of accounts and organized, audit-ready records.
• Lead or support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported and unusual transactions or discrepancies are resolved.
• Deliver accurate and complete monthly financial statements to management no later than the 10th day of the following month, subject to established reporting requirements. Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, close efficiency, automation, and scalability.

• Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages, financial and operating metrics, and key performance indicators for executive management.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, operating performance, and budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual results; investigate material variances and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Lead or support the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, financial models, and short- and long-term financial planning in partnership with department leaders.
• Evaluate financial risks, trends, and opportunities and recommend forecast changes as business conditions evolve.
• Prepare financial analyses for pricing, contracts, capital expenditures, investments, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives; translate complex findings for non-financial leaders.
• Recommend appropriate benchmarks for measuring Company and subsidiary performance.

• Design, implement, maintain, and periodically assess internal accounting controls, including appropriate segregation of duties; remediate identified control weaknesses.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local reporting and tax requirements.
• Coordinate required documentation for external audits and serve as an accounting contact for auditors, tax professionals, financial advisors, and other outside partners.
